about

“Icy tones. Especially of note here is de Mieulle’s bass tone. It’s a crunchy, biting tone, and this tonal aggression fits the darker mood of Sid€show 2. [...] The individual instruments seem to be working around one another, rather than together. This observation isn’t a complaint, though, as that approach is effective at enhancing the mood.” (The Elite Extremophile)

Circus freak-jazz reverie interpolating emotional counterpoints, ambient synth-hop, and disjointed dissonant riffs.

This second Sid€show concept album tells the story of a tormented Two-Headed Kid, a bellicose Giant Fly, and an adorable Dwarf Elephant.
The intermission act presents the classic crowd-pleaser Bed of Snails.

The two keyboardists alternate dreamy and nightmarish soundscapes over steady yet intricate drum/bass loops.
Four musicians improvising live arrangements of character pieces.

Another chapter in Louis' post-Canterbury neoclassical fusion.
